The work
Large-machine seat at BWXT Barberton, the nuclear component shop. Run CNC vertical boring mills — bore, face, turn, groove, contour, grind — to print on big parts. Edit programs, set fixtures, work with the crane to load, and inspect to a thou. All shifts open. Posted rate $40.90. US citizen, background and drug screen. Relocation for eligible candidates. Journeyman machinist preferred.
What you need
High school or GED. Two years precision machining on large machines desired; journeyman machinist preferred. CNC controls, G and M codes, edit and write minor programs. Hold plus or minus .001 and 16 microfinish. Read GD&T. Pass skills test, background, drug screen, and physical. Open to all shifts.
